2006 - Muffin is a 4 or 5 y/o dapple gray miniature.  Previously a deadbeat, he is the new up & comer at Coyote Creek as he has been green broke to pull the pony cart.  He plans to advertise in a few parades this  summer and continue roaming from pasture to pasture to yard to house at will as he ducks under most of the fencing.  In his free time, Muffin enjoys picking on Bill, Blackjack & Skyfire as he rears up against them & bites their whiskers or removes their halters.  He's a pretty good bully as I have seen him get a 16 hand horse on it's knees to protect itself!  Muffin's most memorable moment was when he walked up 5 steps onto the back deck & refused to go  back down.  After he ran into the glass sliding door trying to follow Lynette inside, we finally had to lead him through my kitchen & living room to push him off the front porch!  Last summer, Muffin purchased a nylon harness.  More recently on his shopping trip, he bought a slightly worn halter that didn't fit & had to be returned as well as a muzzle to help control his nibbling habits.  SHHH!  Don't tell Muffin he's not the biggest horse on the farm.  He has more attitude & personality wrapped up in his little body than all of the others!
